CinéDOC School: civic education in schools through documentary film screenings

Documentary films are among the best resources for schools. They help develop critical thinking and they have the potential to reach both hearts and minds of pupils. This project will implement a training program for teachers involving at least 60 Georgian schools. We will train teachers to screen and discuss documentary films for young audiences, with focus on democracy, human rights and freedom of expression. The aim is to strengthen the professional capacity of teachers, as important agents of change, especially in rural communities and cities and post-industrial areas affected by unemployment.
