Cinema al Fouad is the first and only queer film festival in Lebanon. Cinema Queer wants to support Cinema al Fouad’s activities and expansion to ensure it becomes a vital platform for queer Arab artists and a safe space for queer Lebanese audiences. Over the next year, Cinema al Fouad plan to grow to include a fund for Arab films on gender, sexuality and identity for the participation by filmmakers in the LGBTQ-community in Lebanon.
