Cinema Al Fouad is the first and only queer film festival in Lebanon. Cinema Queer wants to support Cinema Al Fouad’s activities and expansion to ensure it becomes a vital platform for queer Arab artists and a safe space for queer Lebanese audiences. Through this first collaboration, we will launch a grant to support the production of a short film on gender or sexual identity from the Arab world. All the while, we will be mentoring their team to help them grow and sustain their festival.
