The project aims to improve the integration of youth, women, girls, and marginalized
groups into civic engagement activities and advocacy efforts, focusing on youth
agency to be mainstreamed into greater community development efforts.
SWEDO will qualify 6 Civil Society Organizations (CSO) as trainers on the civic
engagement of youth and marginalized groups. The organizations will be trained on
the principles and theories of research and infographics and its support of civic
initiatives. The project perform civic initiative activities with the selected CSOs
utilized as hubs for civic engagement efforts. SWEDO will also seek to develop a
youth civic engagement manual/toolkit to be utilized by marginalized groups
throughout Jordan and the region.
