The aim of the project is to enhance resilience and democracy in Ukrainian communities by non-formal education in civil protection.
The project will assist the Ukrainian non-formal education initiative “Vovchok” school in establishing a Civil Protection Faculty using Baltic Sea region experience in non-formal education and civil protection. Within the project, the partners will build a network of Baltic Sea region actors, willing to assist and gather best practices from Baltic Sea region countries in four areas: tactical and emergency medicine, mine safety, psychological resilience, and democratic citizens engagement.
Project activities include the creation of a concept of the faculty, and a draft curriculum tested for replication in other regions. A cooperative platform for mutual learning and joint development will also be developed.
