The Maasai people have a long tradition of oral storytelling. The men’s stories are about battles and tension-filled lion hunts. The women’s have darker undertones. A daughter asks her father not to marry her off – her heart is too young for love. An educated woman’s boyfriend abandons her because she is tormented when having sex. The project brings actors working against EFM and FGM together, with story-telling, drama and radio as tools and we will create a performance and a radio drama together.
