DIMENSION-RF claims that as the population in the Baltic Sea region is gettings older a major challenge is to ensure the mental health of the region’s older citizens. This is also the case in Russia, where a goal has been set to increase life expectancy to 80 years in the coming decades.The idea of DIMENSION-RF is to prevent mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, addiction and suicidality in Russia by adopting the ideas of the NEVERMIND project.
NEVERMIND has developed a digital technology to monitor physiological and psychological parameters. Through this innovative approach, patients receive recommendations on actions to improve the state of their mental health. Hence, people are able to control their well-being by themselves. The goal of DIMENSION-RF is to present this new technology and the learnings from the NEVERMIND project to the scientific and educational community in Russia.
Another aspect of the project is the market outlook. Russia is considered to be a potentially growing market for technologies associated with general and mental health, and Russia’s participation in the current project is therefore highly relevant for the EU project.
