Documentary film to strength gender equality and democracy

The purpose of this initiative is to study/establish the conditions for carrying out a future collaborative project in Iraqi Kurdistan. That project will aim to strengthen the capacity of relevant actors, especially young people and girls, to produce their own documentary films and use film, TV and the internet to raise awareness about democracy and gender equality. In the experience of IKKR (Internationella Kommittén för Kvinnors Rättigheter), this is an effective way to reach important groups who do not usually attend lectures or read information about such issues.
