DoD: Drivers of Democratisation

The aim of the project is to provide Ukrainian youth with the knowledge and skills to develop a resilient and democratic society, advancing towards EU integration.

Upholding democracy during war is vital and it relies on active citizenry and addressing institutional inefficiencies. The challenge lies in the disruption caused by conflict, it destabilises societal structures and undermines trust in institutions, underscoring the paramount importance of the youth’s role in rebuilding social cohesion and promoting reconciliation.

By combining academia and youth organisations, the project seeks to empower Ukrainian youth for democratic transformation. Its overarching goal is to equip over 1000 youth directly with the knowledge and skills needed for a resilient and democratic society. Activities include trainings, workshops and educational programmes.
