The EMTRADA project is about e-mobility systems in the Baltic Sea region. It will focus on the need for and development of training programmes.
EMTRADA notes that in the future, all vehicles will be electric, and that this will require pervasive changes in society. For instance, charging infrastructure, digitisation, power grids, business development and increased power production. The project argues that it is necessary that staff in public administration, companies, and at universities learn more about this transformation. Without an understanding of the aspects of the transformation and how it will play out internationally, it is likely that the process will take longer than necessary.
EMTRADA wants to develop training courses on electromobility systems in the Baltic Sea region. This includes setting up a partnership consisting of universities, municipalities and regional administrators, and companies that will be able to provide training. The activities include forming the partnership, and writing a report on the training needs in each country
