Ending of Sexual Violence Towards Women in Communities Using Media

Ending of Sexual Violence towards Women in Communities using Media seeks to put a stop on sexual violence that happens to women and girls in the community of Kiboga district-Uganda. The project aims to reduce sexual violence among women/girls through changes in behaviour, practices and attitudes by 2024. This will be achieved through increasing knowledge and skills in understanding and preventing sexual violence among 50 youth, who will also work to improve attitudes, behaviours and practices that perpetuate sexual violence among 500 women and girls, and also increase advocacy on ending sexual violence among community stakeholders using media awareness, Training and community engagement will be promoted through the radio, in order to raise social awareness.
