This project will address the preparedness of the countries of the region to provide urgent and planned healthcare services in times of emergency and crisis.
One crucial aspect of emergency preparedness and crisis response is the provision of health care and the challenge of providing health care in difficult circumstances that can manifest in different ways, such as the overwhelming number of people requiring urgent care simultaneously, destroyed or partially destroyed health infrastructure or access to it, the necessity to maintain the continuity of care in case of prolonged hardship.
The project will establish a platform for experts and policymakers where they can exchange best practices, experiences, and opinions and design joint actions for health system emergency preparedness and response.
