This project seeks to highlight how women in film struggle to achieve and retain their positions in the male dominated industry, thereby raising issues of gender equality. It will provide mentorship from the Kenyan media industry, use film and media as a medium to raise awareness about women’s rights issues. It will train and empower young women in Nairobi to further grow their skills from a basic to an expert level and boost their confidence to strive for jobs in the film/ media production space.
