In part 1 of Film for Change (09873/2017), ten activists were trained in filmmaking as a tool for change. Part 2 of this project will now to invite five of them to come to Gothenburg during EuroPride 2018 to show their films and be part of an international seminar with activists from different countries. It is more difficult to arrange these kinds of larger meetings in Turkey now, even between ones Turkish activists. West Pride in Gothenburg will be our partner in arranging the film festival and will be responsible for providing a venue.
The goal is to strengthen the LGBTQ community in how to use art/film as a tool, to create networks with other film activists fron Europe (LGBTQ).
