The project deals with the lack of capacity building and networking opportunities for African artists on the one hand; on the other hand it addresses the need of Swedish artists to open up to non European cultures and include a multicultural dimension in their work.
Five stage productions will be produced and in the long term the plays will continue to be performed in their respective countries and the knowledge gained will be used for new work and will lead to stronger local productions.
