The project aims to establish a networking platform for grassroot organisations in the Eastern partnership working with youth activists. The focus is on individual resilience and mental health as sustainable practices for civil society organisations.
Young people in the Eastern Partnership countries face different crises but work tirelessly to build peace in their local communities. When crisis and conflict is your everyday life, it is easy to burn out, suffer from compassion fatigue or to lose hope making it essential to work with individual and organisational sustainability. The project aims to create a networking platform for grassroot organisations, working with youth activists to share knowledge, understandings, and experience from a perspective of resilience in different conflicts. This will in turn empower youth to face future challenges and build peaceful and resilient societies.
The project involves a series of activities including digital and physical meetings featuring workshops and presentations by each partner organisation. Furthermore, the partnership will conduct a needs assessment of youth resilience in times of crisis and the results will be presented to relevant stakeholders. The networking platform will work on future cooperation opportunities by writing new applications.
