HCSCM: Heterogenous Computing Continuum for a Sustainable Smart City Management

The aim is to establish a consortium for future projects to work on sustainability in smart city solutions through a heterogeneous computing continuum for efficient, scalable, and secure operations. 

Achieving seamless integration between the various systems making up the smart city management is challenging due to the complexity of managing vast datasets, real-time processing, and decision-making across different platforms and infrastructures. 

Smart city management is very broad and includes to monitor public safety, transportation, and energy efficiency. The project will analyse the concept in-depth, identify how heterogeneous computing continuum architecture influences the sustainability of a smart city solution, and describe how this model facilitates smart city operations.
