The purpose of the project is to highlight and diffuse knowledge about the rich but almost forgotten mutual cultural heritage of Russia and Sweden about the many Swedish companies’ activities and fate in Russia 1850-1920
A heritage that is today preserved but scattered over many archive institutions in both countries. Expected results: a) books b) conferences c) exhibitions d) access to large volumes of digitalized source material via Internet e) facilitation of future research into those sources.
