With this project we will initiate and plan a larger project – ‘Reflecting Trans Identity through Performing Arts: a collaboration between Sweden and Georgia’. The objective is to strengthen the transgender community in Georgia, exchange experience and knowledge, and raise awareness about the lives and murders of three transgender persons in Georgia. Their stories make it clear that there is an urgent need to talk about the issues of being transgender and living under oppression.
