IntAG2030 focuses on sharing useful methods and best practices that will facilitate the implementation of 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in organizations in the Baltic Sea region.
The Sustainable Development Goals, which are part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, were adopted by all UN members states in 2015 and should be implemented in all countries thus also in the Baltic Sea region. However, the project IntAG2030 argues that few organizations in the Baltic Sea region have implemented the Sustainable Development Goals in their daily operations. To get more businesses and public organizations on board, IntAG2030 wants to identify and share useful methods and knowledge that will facilitate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The project will particularly focus on good examples, which will be shared between the partners. They will present at least two examples per participating country on methods that can support organizations in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, and four examples per country on how to work with sustainability. The latter will be examples from the fields of energy, climate and equality connected to sustainable economic growth. The activities include workshops, seminars and study visits to organizations that have already implemented the Sustainable Development Goals.
