InteGrid Ukraine

The InteGrid UA project is connected to InteGrid, an EU project funded by Horizon2020. The EU project deals with modernization of energy grids, to cope with the growing demand for energy.

InteGrid UA stresses that energy systems must undergo a transition to become more sustainable and secure. For this purpose, the countries in the region must cooperate and exchange knowledge.

One goal of the InteGrid UA project is to improve the capacities of Ukrainian universities to collaborate with researchers from Sweden and other EU countries to be able to handle the challenges related to the energy systems. Also, the project will try to bridge the gap between citizens and energy providers. The Swedish partners will share experiences of a platform based on so-called smart grids. The solutions will allow consumers to save money and energy through better information. The Ukrainian partners will conduct an analysis of user engagement, which will be useful for providers of smart grid solutions and advanced research in this area.
