The aim of the project is to enhance the resilience of societies in case of crises by contributing to the growth of well-informed communities and promoting good governance practises.
The project will address the common challenge of disinformation and its impact on societal resilience. A society that is not equipped to discern accurate information from disinformation may struggle to make informed decisions during crises. In addition, disinformation can expand societal division and deepen mistrust towards the scientific community or government authorities. This, in turn, can hinder the cooperative response that is required in critical times of need and lead to potentially harmful consequences.
Through targeted events, training sessions, and cooperative efforts, the project plans to develop a roadmap to resilience, incorporating best practices, models, and solutions. The culminating online conference will disseminate these outcomes.
