The initiative acknowledges streets as a key platform for democratic action and cultural expression in slums.
It aims to work with youth in the streets in Korogocho slum to explore means of cultural expression in order to promote skills, intelligence and talent. The expected results are a safer, more democratic and more vibrant street life, documented perception of increased opportunities for personal development through culture, improved self-esteem and increased confidence to act in community space.
