“Let me tell you my story” is a series of programs on Ranginkaman, a Farsi language online and radio platform for the LGBTIQ community in Iran, which enables ordinary members of this community from across the country to tell their stories to each other and the world. 20 stories will be produced and distributed online and via satellite and shortwave radio on Radio Ranginkaman. The project will develop 4 training videos which will be posted on Ranginkaman Instagram. The videos will cover techniques of storytelling in LGBTIQ rights advocacy; how to record audio and video in a safe way and how to share them with media. The project will translate and share the collected stories with Swedish QX magazine to raise awareness of the situation of the Iranian LGBTIQ community.
