Media by civil society

The aim of the project is to contribute to improving human rights, freedom of expression and democracy in Egypt by strengthening civil society. We will do this by training civil society activists in how to spread independent news via social media. Trainings will include both technical and journalistic aspects. Given the dire situation in Egypt, security issues will also be part of the curriculum. The participants will gain experience of information dissemination.
