The aim of this project is to strengthen Swedish-Russian cross-border cooperation; to connect youth workers and dance teachers in northwestern Russia; to train and empower an active group of community leaders to promote non-discrimination and gender equality; and to drive social change in Russia.
We will organise a series of 2-day street-culture festivals in St. Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, Petrozavodsk, Murmansk, Narayan Mar, Pskov and Moscow and a week-long training camp in Sweden. These will include workshops, seminars, round tables and a dance programme (battles and shows). The project will bring together youth centres, commercial actors and public organisations.
