The project aims to support modern Ukrainian theatre during war, fostering cooperation and post-war structures, benefiting from European independent culture via sustainable networks and shared experiences.
Among the challenges are to meet the civilian population’s need for comfort through music and storytelling and to not only offer immediate relief but also establish structures ensuring the continuity and dissemination of Ukrainian playwrights’ work.
The activities of the project include providing safe work conditions, translating plays, and facilitating showcases for local and global audiences. To establish long-term cooperations and networks are also crucial factors for sustaining Ukrainian drama.
