In response to the current refugee challenges in Uganda, there is a need to provide opportunities for the production and distribution of other narratives – ones that put a human face to the crisis and conflict. In this case, these other narratives will be short media messages produced by young refugees and distributed through social media to gain a wider audience. We will develop a week-long media education and production workshop for young refugees settled in Uganda.
