The project aims to strengthen Jewish education in Ukraine through a combination of providing international education and supporting the creation of educational opportunities in Ukraine.
Ukraine is home to one of Europe’s biggest Jewish communities. 30 years after the fall of communism, Jewish culture and knowledge has been rebounding with the freedom to embrace identity although educational challenges still existed. This positive development has been reversed by the effects of the war.
The project includes semester-long Jewish studies in Stockholm for a selected group of young adults, project development tutoring and support, ideation surrounding international Jewish education, pan-European networking and support for practicum. A set of activities and networking takes place in Ukraine.
