Uganda is experiencing a shrinking democratic space. The project aims at promoting democracy, human rights and freedoms of expression through use of media and art. The project is geared at increasing awareness and castigating dialogues on issues of democracy, corruption and human rights through creative performances (musical and theatrical performances), culture and art exhibitions, and public dialogues. The performances, presentations and dialogues will be conducted physically but also broadcast live to reach a wider audience of the target group (the youth) and to allow remote participation. They also be recorded and disseminated through podcasts, videos and print media.
