The project Re-Opening the Space aims to strengthen the capacity of local media, bloggers, and activists to work against the restrictive and non-inclusive legislative process on possible Internet regulations by Zambian decision-makers.
In the run-up to the Zambian election in 2021, we will continue and intensify the work we started with the earlier, seed-funded project: education, awareness-raising, lobbying and advocacy to support the right to freedom of speech on the Internet. The project also aims to raise awareness about responsible use of the Internet.
