Restore HR for victims of Russia’s war/Restoring human rights for Ukrainian victims of Russian war related crimes

The project aims to support the human rights of persons arbitrarily imprisoned in Russia`s war against Ukraine.

According to estimates, Russia has taken between 19 000 and 27 000 military and civilian Ukrainian prisoners in custody. Relatives have very few means to search for them and there is a lack of international humanitarian law instruments for their release.

Activities include collecting and disseminating information, to provide legal assistance and advocacy for the release of the arbitrarily imprisoned persons, and to produce policy recommendations.
