The project aims to re-skill a first cohort of Ukrainian architects into urban designers, able to support hromadas (local communities) in participatory urban rebuilding, thus accelerating both sustainable development and EU integration.
The main challenge is a lack of professionals skilled to work on strategic spatial recovery projects and with the ability to align their work with EU standards.
Activities include meetings and seminars with Swedish experts and a field trip for the students to Stockholm to compare Swedish and Ukrainian cities from a sustainable urban planning perspective.
