The aim of the project is firstly to support and empower Russian journalists covering civil society and human rights-related issues.
Further aims are 1) to raise public awareness about the issues of human rights, democratic structures and freedom of expression through the broad spectrum of Russian media, 2) to develop capacity-building and networking processes for journalists and media outlets on the horizontal regional, national and international levels and 3) to enhance the professional capacity of women journalists.
