The aim of the project is to support a new generation of Ukrainian doctoral students and younger researchers working in stormwater management, with focus on stormwater quality and treatment.Â
Everyday work in the east of Ukraine is complicated by martial law and the dangers associated with shelling and landmines, laboratories work intermittently due to power outages and air raids. Moreover, it is difficult for young scientists to concentrate on their research due to stress.Â
The project will help young scientists to conduct scientific research and communicate with their European colleagues off-line in a peaceful environment in the absence of air raid alerts, problems with power outages, the Internet and mobile communications. The Ukrainian specialists will have access to modern European scientific and technical information, scientific infrastructure and practical experience of leading European scientists and teachers in the field of stormwater management, ensuring environmental safety of stormwater and training of young specialists during their university studies to work on this problem.Â
