The aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity for critical collaboration between local authorities and civil society in delivering services, enhancing resilience anddigital integration, as well as advancing democratisation in Ukraine.
During the ongoing war in Ukraine, new social groups such as internally displaced persons, veterans, and families of fallen soldiers have become substantial segments of society, urgently requiring comprehensive state support to address a broad spectrum of needs. However, the constraints of war have severely limited the capacity of public authorities to meet even the basic social needs of the civilian population.
The project aims to strengthen collaboration between local authorities and civil society, focusing on service delivery, resilience, and democratisation, particularly in conflict-affected areas like Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv. Activities include educational courses and mentorship programmes targeting women and LGBTQ+ communities.
