The SustMan project deals with sustainability management. It wants business students to be better equipped to manage sustainability in international environments.
The idea behind the project is that business students have become more interested in sustainability management. However, they rarely have sufficient knowledge about sustainability management in other countries than their own. Because managers often work internationally, it is important that they are familiar with management of sustainability in other countries and environments.
The overall aim of the SustMan project is to create an international collaboration where business students and university teachers can learn about sustainability management from different perspectives. In order to learn from each other, three universities will start an IT-based collaboration about sustainability management. This will, in turn, result in an education-module that business students can participate in. After the project has ended, a report will be written and more universities will be invited to workshops on sustainability management.
