Teachers Across Borders’ motto is that teachers teach teachers, and in a nutshell, teachers from countries with a strong educational background support colleagues in other countries. Education is one of the most important keys to reducing poverty in the world and to increase gender equality. Not least in times of pandemic, we see that those who do not have an education are eliminated first. Now we want to restart after the pandemic! Kenya has received a new curriculum (CBC – Competency Based Curriculum), which is largely based on the cooperative learning that we advocate. New subjects in the curriculum are Arts and Crafts, Physical and Health Education, Music, Agriculture and Home Science. This is where we can support our colleagues! The seed project is a smaller version of what we hope to do in 2024.
