“The Young Republic Forums” is the first project of “The Young Republic” and its mobilization tool.
The project intends to mobilize Syrian youth worldwide to create a space for a new form of public dialogue among Syrians, offering them the possibility to gather, discuss, think collaboratively and generate knowledge and momentum for democratic alternatives. It will also provide a vehicle for reaching and inspiring other Syrians through an online platform. This platform will support mobilization and dialogue and thus contribute to develop a culture of democracy and freedom of expression among Syrian youth. The aim is to pave the way for democratization in future Syria by transforming the legacy of oppression and fear into a culture of dialogue and freedom.”
