The aim of the project is to strengthen democracy in Syria by empowering the civil society to produce its own image in the unfavourable context of post-truth. It will bring together film makers and human rights defenders living in Syria and Lebanon with film makers, artists, researchers, human rights activists and media in Sweden for workshops, public screenings and exhibitions to further develop both the understanding and the praxis of dignity and image production. A further aim is to establish long-term collaborations with Swedish institutions.
