The objective is to open up and expand the professional field of photo journalism to women in Iraq as well as make women more visible in Iraqi media. Our seed funding project trained four Iraqi women. We wil now train another 10-15. We will help them to find assignments and connect them with news outlets. The project will also strengthen the Framing Photojournalism School, connect it with other schools and create collaborations between photo schools.
