We will create an online digital learning platform for training Trainers of Trainers –
young adults including teachers and youth leaders. They gain knowledge and skills
that empower them in their own lives, and as trainers of children who become Child
Rights Ambassadors.
The Ambassadors, children 10–17, become changemakers where they live and
in schools, for equal rights, especially girls’ rights, the Global Goals and a
sustainable future. Both trainers and children go on to educate and empower
their peers, also demanding from duty-bearers – including leaders on local and
municipal levels – on the Rights of the Child, democracy, sustainable
development and every child’s right to participation in local government. In the long
term this will contribute to systematic and structural change, and the fulfilment of
Global Goal 16.
