The project aims to improve trade conditions via strengthening the connection between Ukrainian trade infrastructure and the EU and to introduce EU standards via stakeholder-implemented policies.
The survival of Ukrainian businesses during the war and the growth of their competitiveness in the post-war period depends on foreign trade, and this, in turn, on the efficiency of Ukraine’s transport companies (sea, river, railway, road) in southern Ukraine and their integration with the EU transportation infrastructure.
Reforming the transport industry according to EU standards will require changes at the micro-level such as reskilling, implementation of gender equality policies, reintegration of ex-combatants, women and internally displaced people in transport and trade companies. Activities include fundraising and workshops.
