UExDev; Ukrainian Executive Development during Conflict

The aim of the project is to develop an executive master’s programme for the Ukrainian business sector, with a specific emphasis on management during conflict.

It is crucial for Ukraine to remain strong both militarily and economically in the face of the Russian invasion. To achieve this, the private sector in Ukraine, which has remained remarkably resilient despite the war, plays a vital part. This resilience is equally important for post-conflict reconstruction, as relying solely on public financing carries significant risks.

The ambition is to identify the size of the market, assess the skills and courses requested, develop a programme curriculum, and identify the human resources needed. The aim of the programme is to contribute to the development of human capital in Ukraine, providing executives with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the challenges of doing business in a conflict-affected region. This, in turn, will foster regional development by supporting the growth of local businesses, non-governmental organisations, and the government.
