The aim of the project is to foster a sustainable, inclusive job creation and job market integration in Ukraine, with emphasis on internally displaced persons and host communities.
There are challenges with regards to internally displaced persons lack integration, livelihood, and employment opportunities. This is exacerbated by low-income levels, lack of skills and perceptions amongst residents. At the same time, due to the wartime circumstances such as mobilisation and displacement, local businesses are suffering from lack of labour, unable to fully utilise their production capacities.
Through community-led interventions and collaborative efforts among stakeholders, the project seeks to boost economic opportunities, empower marginalised groups, and enhance social cohesion for long-term resilience and prosperity.
