Uprooted-2: equipping Jordanian arts and cultural practitioners that practice on an amateur or semi-professional level with skills, knowledge and tools to strengthen their work to drive social change.
Uprooted-2 is a capacity building project to support young artists to develop their skills and knowledge in working with children and youngsters from different and often marginalised communities in Jordan. After two workshop periods we will create a performance for children that will tour in and outside of Amman.
The project looks into questions around identity/home/belonging and how we could use arts to strengthen the position of marginalised groups of children and youth.
