This project will use creative methods to showcase landscape architecture as a tool for building democracy, healthy environments and sustainable development. It will use tactical urbanism to influence policy makers and stakeholders about the importance of public space and cultural identity. It will develop and promote a comprehensive exchange of knowledge about landscape architecture and planning traditions in Sweden and Kenya to emphasize local-global connections in tackling global issues at local level.
