Filmmakers in the B2B Doc region are covering wars, annexations and civil conflicts from confronting sides in the region. The project puts focus on conflict zones and brings filmmakers from conflicting sides together to discuss: a) important aspects in documentary filmmaking in conflict zones; b) exploring ways for the filmmakers from the respective sides to collaborate; c) how documentary storytelling can contribute to conflict resolution.
The exchanges will be facilitated by established filmmakers from former Yugoslavia who have experienced and filmed wars and conflicts but who have also managed to transfer from being enemies to becoming co-production partners and friends.
