Winnet Model in EAP; Winnet Model Goes East

The Winnet model in EAP project concerns gender equality and economic growth. The idea is to spread the gender perspective to business development in the Baltic Sea region.

Gender equality is often overlooked in business development, innovation and tourism. The lack of gender sensitive models and methods may result in less sustainable growth in certain industries. Therefore, there is a need to create awareness of the gender perspective. The project wants to promote sustainable and gender-equal growth in the EU’s Eastern Partnership countries.

The Winnet model targets women in innovation, entrepreneurship and tourism. The idea is to create a platform for different actors, including Women Resource centres, NGOs, decision makers and researchers, where they can cooperate to strengthen and spread the Winnet model across the region. The project will arrange meetings, seminars and conferences.
