Every year, 40+ Qatari leaders and managers conduct a 1-year leadership programme and each year visit a new country on a different topic. This year they chose Sweden as Qatar sees Sweden as a successful country in innovation and entrepreneurship. Together with the Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education, SI is responsible for one week’s programme in Sweden 24-28 September.

The programme is based on three of Qatar’s biggest challenges; smart cities, health and well-being as well as digitalisation and fintech. The programme will include presentations from experts in these areas as well as visits to large and small companies, including Ericsson, Vallastaden in Linköping, Karolinska Institute, but also visiting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The aim of the programme is to make this a recurring visit to Sweden for each year’s Qatar Leadership Centre programme  and create new opportunities for cooperation between Sweden and Qatar.
